On 5 November 2025, ENEEF co-hosted the launching ceremony for the " Green Outreach Volunteer: Green Village Representative Training cum Smart EV-Recycling Program in NT Rural Area" in partnership with the Hong Kong Youth Development Volunteer Corps. This innovative initiative deploys smart electric recycling vehicles to provide scheduled collection services in New Territories villages whilst recruiting local residents as "Green Outreach Volunteers" to promote recycling and waste reduction in rural communities.

The launching ceremony marked ENEEF's commitment to bringing innovative environmental technology to remote communities through the establishment of sustainable village-based recycling networks via local representative training. This programme demonstrates the Environment and Conservation Fund's support for community-driven environmental initiatives, advancing green development in New Territories rural areas and contributing to Hong Kong's overall waste reduction objectives.
