Introduction

 

Endeavour Environmental Education Foundation successfully held the “ReGarDen Electrical Appliance Recovery, Refurbishment and Donation Programme – Community Sharing Day” at Luen Wo Hui on 2 August 2025. Through close collaboration with ALBA Integrated Waste Solutions (Hong Kong), Midea Group (Hong Kong) and Household Electronics Reborn, together with the strong support of Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service and Luen Wo Land Investment, the initiative vividly demonstrated the practical power of the circular economy in action. Professional retired technicians refurbished donated household appliances and subsequently distributed essential items, including fans and electric kettles, to local residents.

 

This community-led initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to environmental sustainability while addressing social needs, and illustrates how collaborative efforts can generate lasting positive impact for both the community and the environment.
